For Carson's baptism we were planning on having a Taco Bar. We have already bought the meat for the tacos so we are looking to let you all decide what you want to bring. Below is the list of items for the luncheon. choose which you would like to bring and leave your choice in the comments section. That way the next person on can see what has already been taken and can choose something else. First come, first serve.
Taco shells
Flour tortillas
Lettuce
Tomato
Cheese- 2 people
Sour cream
Salsa
Drinks- 2 people
Dessert- 3 people (Rachel has to bring her peanut butter cup dessert so she already has dibs on a dessert)

Catching up
Well, obviously the blogging thing didn't get off to a good start. So, some of the big things that have happened since the last time we actually posted: Mike had gone two semesters in the MBA program and did great. Hadley had about 15" cut off her hair (the cut looks really cute on her). She donated her hair to locks of love. Sawyer got elected as student body president for the oncoming school year and Darius was elected treasurer (both are excited). We remodeled our kitchen. It is not all the way done (we still have the flooring and trim to do), but it is almost there. It looks wonderful. We are all enjoying our summer as I'm sure you all are.

THE LAST TWO WEEKS
Mike started school two weeks ago after being out of school for about 12 years (AHHH!!) to get his MBA. Needless to say, the last two weeks have been kind of hectic. I hope it's okay for me to have mental breakdowns every so often maybe even once a day (ha! ha!). This is a big adjustment for our family. We are all excited for Mike though. He is enjoying school even though it is A LOT of work. His emphasis is in accounting and he may decide to get his CPA. We all hope that the next 2-3 years will go by fast.
Mike is working part time at the kid's school. It works out great because he works in the mornings and then is able to come home and study or do homework before he has to go to school (he has night classes).
I am working full time at a dental office, assisting. I wish that I didn't have to work, or at least not full time, but I know that it is temporary and assisting is something that I enjoy doing.
All of the kids are in school (they started the 13th of August. Sawyer is in 7th grade, Darius 6th, Hadley 2nd, and Carson 1st. They all love the school that they go to and they have great teachers.
Hope this catches you all up on what is going on in our lives. I'll try to post often and I will throw in some pictures once in a while.

The first post
Well all, we have decided to enter the trendy wave of blogging. What a dumb word eh? So we hope to be able to put pictures for you to enjoy and give you news and other information pertinent to our little family. Be patient and we will, well Steph probably, will try to get some things set up and let you know where we are right now.
